This morning me and my mother were going for a nice drive out to the general dollar for medicine and chicken rice soupe.
Then all of a sudden just as we were about to leave the drive way, my mother could not help but notice a huge mangled cat strown all over the road in front of our house. T_T (I am a veggie head, and as all veggie heads know its sad when something like that happens to a kitty cat).
So my mother starts freaking out majorly,because the kitty in the road looks like our precious little kitty named tiger,she was hysterical and wouldnt rest until she went back in to the house to check and make sure that it wasnt our little kitty in the road.
Despite me telling her over and over that I had let the kitty inside just a minute ago and that tiger was fine.She didnt believe me.So she left the truck running and went back dashing into the house like she was being chased by a rabid boar.
So that left me in the car freezzing and worring my little ass off, listening to the soothing sounds of the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Anthony singing the song 'Animal bar'.Trust me if youve ever heard that song you know its not what you picture as the best song to be listening to when you see a dead kitty mangled in the middle of the road.With its guts hanging out, and its beedy little dead eyes starring at you.So like a freak, I get out of the car and walk up to the road to get a better look(Im such an animal lover,its sad I love carnage).
I stand there for a little while looking at its guts spewd across the middle of the road,the kitties little intestine hanging out ditatched from the rest of the body and clinging to the stomach lining. I could see little tiny lumps of its little heart spread across the asphault.Luckily its head was still intact,although as I look at my little kitty(Tiger)as I now type this, its sad when a kitty dies,for someone in the world is left kittiless.
They have such nice and soft fur.Eventually a SUV drove over the dead body, missing any of its body,and the wind sort of hurrled over the body visably,...and its fur clung the body, then sprung from the body agian.I closed my eyes for a second,just thinking about how smooth the kittys organs look sticking together as if they had never been departed from its owners body if only a matter of moments to an hour ago(I told you Im a freak).
So then my mother calls me and shes comming back from the house telling me that Tiger was perfectly fine(like I knew he was all along).So we get back into the car and shes going on about how the cat in the road looks so much like or little tiger.I cant but help look at the corpse of the kitty as we turn pass it,and my mom starts to ewwwww out.
On the way to the dollar store, shes going on about how even if it was her cat, she wouldnt have gotten it up(shes terrified of dead people,snakes,and anything else dead....so yeah,....).Then I intterupt her and say that I respect animals to much to leave thier carcus in the middle of the road to be trampled upon by soccer moms in thier mini vans with little disregaurd for the kitty in the road,and more about themselves and there cell phones(sorry thats just me talking)...
So later on,we come back from the store and the cat is still in the road.I lean over the dashboard to see if anyone has defiled the body further,....But my mother tells me to look away,and since she usually knows best I do look away aganst my better jugdement.Even though Im sick and I probably would have made me sick to look again.
We go inside and both embrace our little Tiger who I love very dearly.
Weird,Both my last jornals have been about my pets dying,I wonder if thats an omen....
Which leaves us on the note,Curiousity kills kitties everywhere.
